Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation accepts no more than 600 applications each quarter. The July cycle filled rapidly, so departments should prepare their quote, narratives, contacts, and attachments well before the next opening.

Our role is practical: screen proposed rescue equipment against current Foundation guidelines, prepare an itemized official vendor quote, and draft clear language about the local need, current equipment gap, and community impact.

Keep the request to one related equipment package

I understand the application is limited to one equipment category. Related equipment and required accessories may be grouped together as one package on one vendor quote. Examples include an extrication package, a Res-Q-Jack stabilization, lifting, or shoring package, or a Matjack air-lifting bag package. Do not combine unrelated categories, such as extrication tools with fire hose or AEDs with gas monitors.

Rescue Equipment Requests

Tool Planning

Package planning that aligns requested equipment, quantities, quote totals, and operational need.

One related equipment package per application: the Foundation identifies vehicle-extrication tools and vehicle-stabilization struts as examples of lifesaving equipment it may fund. Other rescue equipment, including lifting bags, glass-access tools, and related accessories, must be checked against the Foundation's current guidelines before applying. The single quote cannot combine unrelated categories, such as extrication tools with fire hose or AEDs with gas monitors. Final eligibility and funding decisions belong solely to the Foundation.
